Mr. Vick

Dear Michael Vick,

If you're found guilty I hope you are hit with the most ridiculous sentence in the history of man. Any man that water down a "loser" dog and electrocute it to death, or slam a puppy on the ground until it dies, or hang a dog deserves to be in the FPMITA prison...The Office Space lovers out there will be able to figure that one out...You know it's bad when the fact that you actually shot these dogs sounds humane. What's next? When your kicks are had and this gets dull, then what? The next logical step up is a human being, I would suppose, and based on your character, I wouldn't put murder past you, if you have the ability to torture a defenseless living creature, who knows what you would do.

If the NFL doesn't take a drastic measure NOW, my vision of this league will truly be tainted and I will have a hard time seeing it the same way. If any of you know me, you know that is a major statement because I am a BIG sports fan and the NFL is at the top of my list. If Vick is still in the league this year, you can sign me up for the protest.

Some pic's of us and Baylee.

And our governor wants to do what?

A few months ago I had a discussion with a friend of mine after reading an article about a guy who was released from prison for murder, and then committed the same crime again. I don't have a link for it, but it happened in Grand Rapids...Well DUH!!! I am all about forgiveness, but I am also all about paying a penalty. Thank goodness Jesus paid the penalty for our sins to allow us to get to heaven, but he did pay the penalty so a murderer can stay out of jail! Jail time, is the penalty that people have to pay for these crimes, and I believe they need to serve the full time, or at least close to it. Obviously, there are situations when a judge can make a logical decision and let someone out, but those cases should be rare.

Sooooo....Tonight, as I am watching the Tigers get win number 56 (I think), I stumble on this article.

Why was this guy not in jail? Good behavior? Come on. The guy is a stinking lunatic, and a 5 year old girl had to pay the price for someone's bad judgement and this guys lunacy.

So, after all of that, I bring this up:

So this is how we are going to solve our financial crisis? Release more problems onto the streets? Wow...Genius idea. How many crimes will it take from these parolee's to rack up legal bills equal to 100 inmates. I'm guessing any time of major crime will require a lot of legal work. Not to mention that we will be less safe.

Well, it makes me feel comfortable that because of a plan from our Governor, there will be 3000 more convicted criminals released early from prison, not because of good behavior, but because we can't afford them. Right. This should be one of the last things we do to save money. Our safety is not worth sacrificing. Then again, these are the same people that don't want us to fight in the middle east and take out the people that would LOVE to saw our heads off. I know that's blunt, but it's the facts. I won't post the links to those video's.
